Data Request and Deletion Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
This Data Request and Deletion Policy explains how an individual may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by the campaign for Andreas Sanchez for NATCA Southwest Region Vice President (the “Campaign”).
The Campaign does not require an account or login to submit a request.
1. How to Submit a Request
Email alex@s4sw.org with the subject line:
Privacy Request
The request should include:
Your name;
The email address or telephone number associated with the Campaign record;
The facility or facility code associated with the record, if applicable;
The type of request;
The relevant order number, form, or communication channel, if known; and
Any other information reasonably necessary to locate the record.
Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, bank-account credentials, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive credentials by email.
2. Available Requests
You may ask the Campaign to:
Provide a copy or description of personal information associated with you;
Correct inaccurate information;
Delete personal information held by the Campaign;
Stop Campaign email communications;
Stop Campaign text messages;
Explain how information is being used or disclosed; or
Confirm whether the Campaign has information associated with you.
An unsubscribe or text opt-out request may be processed separately from an access or deletion request so that the Campaign can promptly stop future Campaign communications.
3. Authentication
The Campaign may request reasonable information to verify that the requester is the individual associated with the information. The Campaign will request only information reasonably necessary for authentication and will not require unnecessary sensitive information.
If the Campaign cannot reasonably authenticate a request, it may decline to provide, correct, or delete information because doing so could risk disclosing or altering another person’s information.
4. Review and Response
The Campaign will review each request and respond within the time required by applicable law. If no specific statutory deadline applies, the Campaign intends to respond within a reasonable period.
The Campaign may decline or limit a request where permitted or required by law, NATCA election rules, recordkeeping obligations, security requirements, fraud prevention, transaction administration, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
If the Campaign denies a request in whole or in part and applicable law requires an appeal process, the Campaign will provide appeal instructions with the response.
5. Deletion
If the Campaign approves a deletion request, it will delete, deidentify, or reasonably segregate the requested information from active Campaign systems, subject to legal, security, election, accounting, tax, transaction, and recordkeeping requirements.
Deletion from Campaign systems may not delete information held independently by:
NATCA;
Stripe;
Meta, Facebook, or Instagram;
TikTok;
Google or YouTube;
Cloudflare;
Email or text-messaging providers;
Shipping providers; or
Other independent third parties.
Requests concerning information controlled by those entities should be directed to them under their respective privacy policies.
The Campaign may retain a limited record of the request, response, and action taken to document compliance, prevent repeated abuse, and satisfy legal or operational requirements.
6. Communications Opt-Outs
You may unsubscribe by using the link in a Campaign email or emailing alex@s4sw.org with the subject line “Unsubscribe.”
Text messages
You may opt out by replying STOP, when supported, or emailing alex@s4sw.org with the subject line “Text Opt-Out.”
Stopping Campaign communications does not necessarily stop non-promotional messages needed to administer an order, respond to a request, protect the website, or comply with law.
7. No Fee
The Campaign will not charge a fee for an ordinary access, correction, deletion, or opt-out request. The Campaign may impose a reasonable fee or decline a request only where applicable law permits it, including for manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive requests.
